Avoid Bonham in Indy. They have their sales on Sunday.

Christys is my favorite but I have not seen them sell fabric yet. But I did get a Featherweight there once. He is honest and helpful. Good pictures and normal sales are every Wedensday.

Lawson is also good. He sells normally on the west side around Danville.

I continue to check www.auctionzip.com but am going to keep the drives down due to disappointments.

Thanks for the advice. I go to auctions to look for fabric and crafting stuff and my SIL comes with me because she sells antiques. I haven't been in awhile though and was hoping to go to some now that it's getting cooler.

Perhaps. We used to attend auctions and noticed that some of the shoppers would switch items out of one box into another so that they got what they wanted (kind of unethical cherry-picking). I found this out by bidding on a box I had eyed, and when I purchased it, some of what I wanted was missing. Not all auction shoppers are honest. Maybe the auctioneer is trying to keep the box lots intact.
