Vilene 247 Low Loft Volume Wadding
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with Vilene’s 247 wadding?
I make small quilts for Project Linus - on a very restricted budget. Previously I have bought polyester wadding by the yard/metre from a fabric store - it’s cheap but the quality is not very good.
I would like to buy something that is a slightly better quality and have come across Vilene wadding.
I’m not sure if this is available internationally but if anyone has used it I would love to know what you think.
Also, if anyone in the UK could recommend a reasonably priced waddling that I can buy online please let me know!
Thank you.

I've never heard of Vilelne wadding/batting. I've only known it as water soluble stabilizer https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&ke...0p8srs46_b_p37

Have you tried using fleece as a backing and wadding all in one? I understand a lot of people do that. Also would Project Linus accept used, but clean, old blankets as wadding? I've also heard of people using old mattress pads as wadding in a quilt. I've saved one but haven't used it yet.
