This is the 2nd cuddle quilt I finished yesterday. Not sure what I will work on today. Should do the yard and house work, not sewing.

We will see how I feel after church.

I used a pattern I found on etsy at PupPanache.com. I made a few modifications but all in all the pattern worked well for me.

Well, I have 5 of my 6 lap quilts done!! Busy weekend, but am relieved to have gotten this much done so far. They are all simple rail fence pattern; I did some simple piecing on the backs, and quilted with my walking foot, but the Seniors will appreciate them.(I did two of the pink and green ones, but since they are the same only posted pic of one of them) One more to go. I also have some military theme fabric, I think I will try to put together a couple in red, white and blue for the Veterans at the center too.

Jeanne S. all very nice but my favourite is the one with the stripes and alternating direction block quilt.

This isn't curved piecing, you cut separate clamshell pieces and fuse to the batting and then machine stitch the leading on. Here's as far as I got last night, hope to do the binding today. The true colours are the picture before it was trimmed, but I took the next one at a different angle.

Love the dog harness... we have a little pug grand doggy who can slip out of almost any harness...

I love that, it's really pretty and the technique is genius, it looks much more complicated and difficult.

I've been tying the tee shirt quilt off and on (have to rest the fingers from time to time) and making some headway but not as much as some of you who are whipping out all of those beautiful things.

Jeanne, I love your amazing little quilts and the nice quilting.

CoventryUK. Cute idea on your quilt! Great job also.

Loved the thread catcher. Did you put something in the top to make it stand out?
Thanks, I used stiff fusible interfacing on the cuff and a dowel slipped inside the back of it while I was stitching it down. I've seen other patterns that use a plastic clothesline to hold the front open but the interfacing worked really well.

I have spent a lot of time going through supplies and fabric. Have some sewing polyester fabrics - scraps and yardage to donate somewhere. Found some small doll quilts I did a few years ago. One had a problem that I wanted to fix. I also spent time practicing free motion quilting after watching some of Leah Day's Craftsy class. Was having a bit of a time with the tension on my Viking Quilt Designer II. Finally figured out the problem was the bobbin had now wound correctly. I'm feel I was very busy all weekend but don't have much to show for it
