I have been working on finishing up the quilting on the Christmas Wreath Quilt from Julia Quiltoff's online class after taking a few weeks off to finish off the writing of the instructions for my two cloth doll online classes that I will be teaching soon.

One - You need to spend time with the grands' when ever you have a chance. The sewing will be there later.
Tish - awesome top.
Vagabond - Did you raid my crumb box??? Those look very familiar to how I use scraps.
I was able to sew for about 90 minutes, better than no sewing I guess. Time to finish the dishes and see what DH wants to watch.
Thanks for a quick VQD

I started out with good intentions, but then.....I loaded some practice fabric on the mid arm machine with the intentions to practice stippling (been watching Youtube videos and felt ready to give it a try), then, about a 1/4 of the way through my bobbin thread wouldn't feed and things really went haywire. It took me until supper time to figure out the problem, turned out to be the thread on the prewound bobbin I had in, my machine just didn't like it. So as I was trying to figure out the problem, I decided to clean the machine while I had it apart. I was in the studio, but very little sewing progress today. Oh well, that's just how it goes some days, hopefully I'll get in some practice tomorrow. I see lots of work did get done today, Vegabond, your scrappy quilt is beautiful. Christine, I feel your pain.

Nice to see everyones projects, I managed about an hour in the sewing room before Super Bowl and our comapny arrived to enjoy munchies and watch the game.
I am working on a little Happy Camper Playset by Two Brown Birds, very fiddly but I am enjoying it, makes a change from regular sewing/quilting.

I managed to get 4 blocks done for another scrappy quilt using batik 2 1/2" strips that I have here. Then I decided to change directions and do a series of 9 patches with the batik strips. Not to much got done but since I am not a Superbowl person I need to ask a couple questions. Who played and who won. I haven't had the tv on for a couple days and I don't know when I watched a sports broadcaster. I would much rather be making a quilt.
