I'm in--worked most of the day repairing a sewing machine for my SIL, then finished the last of the blocks for a 6 yr old UFO! And tomorrow I'm teaching beginning quilting class in morning and participating in a Mystery quilt class in afternoon. Sunday? Playing with family, and then putting a scrappy quilt on the long arm for Monday.

I started this morning with the 365 Challenge daily block and 30 minutes of cleaning my sewing room. (It is going to take a lot of 30 minute days.) Then....well.... have you ever gone into your sewing room with a plan saw a forgotten project that took over? Well that was me today. This was what I started with. Five blocks from our Guild's friendship committee. Next , then lots of sewing. Not what I had envisioned for the day or this project. Tomorrow will post more pictures. Enjoyed my day, hope you enjoyed yours!

I made the block for this week's HST Challenge. The one on the left is last year's challenge. I completed all of the blocks last year but couldn't decide how to put them together for my bed. Now the organizer is doing 2 blocks a week for 24 or 25 weeks(I can't remember) and one block each week will be last year's so I am ahead of the game there! Lol!

I won't be sewing tomorrow because I will be attending a basketball game for a great-niece, weather permitting. I will check in when I get home.

I will be working on a back pack doll carrier for a friends little girl, then a New Years Eve quilt from many, many years ago that I obviously did not finish on New Years day, lol.

I will be working on my sewing room. I tore it apart before Thanksgiving and just need to make a couple of tough decisions to get it back into shape. Some fabric definitely needs to go, but most needs to stay. I really need to start a new project or two.

I always feel like that when I am about to FMQ, but once I start I get on a roll and am fine. I have a friend who is a LAQ and she has the same problem and has been doing it for 8 yrs. You're right, just dive in!

No quilting for me this weekend. DH decided now is the time to start laying vinyl plank flooring and I will spend the next week, sorting and moving everything out. Gives me a chance to purge a few things though.
