some great work got done this weekend--unfortunately not at my house! Son and DIL and 3 little boys (8, 2,1) got here Friday about 7pm and left at about noon today--and total chaos reigned between then! Love them all ,but sure wears my DH and I out! And last night had a household of guests for early 4th celebration (we live in country and set off LOTS of fireworks). Told my DH after church yesterday that I was having quilting withdrawal--hadn't touched a machine since last Thurs! So after house vacated by all today I started putting binding on 2 quilts--one is my first scalloped edge and tried to cut binding with Accuquilt--didn't load right and didn't come out bias! So need more fabric for it, but did get the binding on the other--now to sew it down to back. It's black and just don't like sewing black at night.
