Arguhhhhh!. What to do? It is on the edge so I could correct it. But waaah, I just wanted to be finished with it today! Oh well, back to reestablish my friendship with Jack. First I need to take a breath and do something else for a while.
I LOVE this. Sweet and simple. What size are the squares? They look pretty small. And did you make 4 patches, the sew them together?

I managed to press and cut the fabrics I needed for the Strippy Stars project at my sew day Sat. , and got the 4 patches made. Last night I cleared enough space and started on the next step of the directions, as the new step is released tomorrow. I think I now have all the boxes unpacked in my sewing room, but some things are not back onto the shelves yet. Nice to read about all the stitching getting done! Thanks for hosting again Raggiemom, look forward to next month.

Well, I got done some of what I had hoped to do. Did not get to hand sewing the back binding. One more day?

All the squares are 2.5 inches (finish at 2.0). I am part of the Birthday Swap group here on the board and I cut my smaller scraps into 2.5's. Therefore, I have an abundance of 2.5 squares. I do make four patches then join four together to make 16 patches to make the rows. I have done quite a few of these checkerboard quilts and this seems to work for me.

I did correct the checker board quilt, finished the binding on my crumb quilt and made 4 more crumb blocks. I cut the batting and pieced the batting for the 2008 Christmas Exchange block quilt but.... no quilting on it. May be next month. Tee-Hee-Hee!
