Virtual Quilting Weekend -- September 2 to 5, 2016
Welcome to Virtual Quilting Weekend. The next one will be the first weekend in October. What are you going to work on this weekend? Do you have some UFOs needing to be completed? Still have some Christmas presents to wrap up? Perhaps your sewing room needs to be organized. Or maybe you're ready to start a new project! Whatever you're working, join us for a fun-filled weekend of quilting. I have a couple things I'd like to finish and I'm learning how to use my Featherweight sewing machine today. Should be a great weekend

Good morning Heather! Yay! a 4 day holiday VQW! I will still be quilting my Allietare mystery quilt - hoping to get it bound before the next one is released LOL
Congrats on the Featherweight - I love the sound of mine.

I'm in ! Working on a bargello I just started and a scrappy quilt I have so enjoyed. It's like a memory quilt of past quilts so it's been nice thinking of those quilts I've finished and where they've went. Will try to advance these along between grilling and fantasy football drafts.

I am in...thanks Heather, for hosting the VQW.
I am just now looking at the pieces I cut for a baby quilt. I cut some pieces the wrong size so will have to do some extra cutting. It is a baby blocks quilt pattern. No y-seams..done with sew and flip method. I am hoping I can make some progress on it...it's been a while since I've been sitting at the sewing machine.
Hope everyone enjoys the weekend and makes good progress on sewing projects.

I will be trying to sandwich 3 quilts that I made blocks for when I was up north. Oh, first I have to sew them together. I have pieces of fabric all over my sewing area that I am trying to audition for the sashing. Have to make some decisions. Whatever everyone decides to do...enjoy!

I have several projects. I'm working on black and white NY Beauty blocks-my design needs 28 of them. Then I started an orange peel Christmas quilt using a layer cake packet. So definitely will be sewing this weekend.
