I love making kitchen towels (with machine emboridery pictures) using waffle weave fabric. Unfortuantely, the quilt shop I was buy it from one longer carries it. I checked with all the quilt shops/fabric shops in my area and none of them carry it any longer. Does anyone know where I can get it? I am trying to start on my Christmas Gift List.

Does anyone know of other type of fabric that I can use that would be durable both for embroidery and for dish drying.

Thanks,

One member here has been posting embroidery done on these towels that she has purchased from the Dollar Tree. They are the same waffle material :D:D:D

Thanks,
Nancys Notions had ready made towels in packs not too long ago. I just got a bunch of towel fabric from fabric.com but understand they have sold out of it. You should sign up for e-mails from fabric.com and you will get daily sales, weekly sales. And if you buy $35 worth of merchandise they will ship free. I love their fabric.

Wash a towel from Dollar Tree to see how much it may shrink.
I have couple terry cloth ones did not shrink, another weave shrink came out the dryer mis-shaped.
