    Hey everyone, Question
What do you use for batting in a wall hanging. I normally put warm and natural, sometimes I'll put polyester, but wondering Is there soemthing different that you use????

I've used just a piece of old, but clean, between front and back. It just gives it a bit of firmness to sew through. Blessings, Ruth

I use Warm and Natural for all of my quilts. The wall hangings turn out just as great as the rest. Go for it.

While sorting through some boxes, I came across a few of my daughters 'receiving blankets'. I used a couple of them for my 'batting', and they worked out great.

I've used the warm and natural, but on some I wanted more poof, so used a high loft polyester. Depends on the finished look you want.

I was recently told to check the batting to see which direction stretched the most. Always put the least stretchy direction for the length as it will stretch some when hanging.

I use warm and natural or poly batting. Both work well.

Good advice, also if the wall hanging is large enough at some point weight can be a consideration.

On very large hangings a lot of people use poly because it's lighter.
