I was at Walmart and since they are remodeling, I decided to look in the clearance fabric. I found a bolt of wide backing fabric. It is cream tone on tone. Regular price, $6.67. Sale price $2.50. It feels very nice and is tightly woven. There was 10 1/2 yards left for a cost of 21.25.
I didn't even know they sold wide width.

My Walmart has that everyday for 2.44 per yard reg. price. I usually buy the whole bolt.

Great buy! I knew that if you can find a Walmart that still sells fabric that they had the wide backing fabric but I've never seen them have it in tonal. COOL ! ! ! Just make sure you wash it first, a lot of their fabric really shrinks. I use their fabric too if I find something I like.

What a lucky fine. In upstate New York, there are very few Walmart's that sell fabric. Most have discontinued pretty much the whole section. I miss the sales.

Our Wal-mart has wide widths. I've never checked the price. We also have an Alco store that sells wide fabric. Alco is a chain so it may be around some other parts of the country.
