I try to buy Made in USA! but not exclusively. I also like to support world-wide homemade fabric makers.

When doing a google search there were a number of manufactures who made fabrics here in the USA. I got side tracked though and started to day dream some about all the pretties. JAF came up and I said to myself No WAY and started to investigate. Not all their fabrics are made in the USA especially batiks.. It is best to read the labels they will usually say where they ar manufactured.

Search estate sales. America used to be one of the leading textile manufacturers back before we lost all our factories to China.

At JAF today, simply wanting a white or cream Kona solid, or quilters cotton sad to say the one made in the U.S.A was thin, couldn't pass the visual test. Sadder to say I chose the one made elsewhere.
