What a wonderful deal you got but you and I both know the truth, you aren't sharing, you're bragging! LOL LOL I have gotten some really great deals off CL too. (And I've bragged about them also) I got an 'almost new' Brother CE4000 for $60, last year a lady was selling fabric $1 a lb and that's about 4 yards. So many people say that CL is horrible and tell horrible stories but I think those are just people that haven't gotten the types of deals that you and I have. LOL That sewing machine I bought the girl had bought it new for a class project. The project was done so she didn't need it anymore. The project was a wall hanging less that 2' square.

Every day I check Free, Garage Sale, Household, General and Arts & Crafts sections of CL. When I email a reply I usually ask for a phone # so that I can call and talk to the person. If I feel uneasy about it I either take someone with me, tell them I'm not interested anymore or suggest that we meet in a public place to conduct business. I've never had any problems at all.

Wow! I wish that would happen to me. I'am really on a budget since my husband fell off a semi and is now disabled. He doesn't think fabric is a necessity....can you imagine that? lol Now lets see all the gorgeous quilts your gonna make! BJ
