Default Wanted: Easy T block pattern

I've been on Pinterest again! There I saw a really scrappy T-block quilt where every other block was cream/ tan/or white which set off all the other colors in the quilt. I've done a google search for the pattern and have basically come up with zilch for the one I'm wanting...one that is in reality only three peces to the block. I've found one made from half square triangles for the sides, but that looks to squatty and short to me. Anyone know where I can get a taller T-block pattern? Maybe 6" for the block. Help is appreciated because I'm wanting to use some of my 2 1/2' strips if possible.

A picture might help.

I agree, a photo would help! But, in the mean time is this what you’re referring to? If you scroll down a bit there is a pattern that looks like strips can be used.

Is this too simple for what you are looking for?

Farmquilter....the one I'm looking for is very similar to the one posted by tallchick...only that one uses 3" wide strips. Sounds silly, but I really have to follow a pattern to get thing to some out right, therefore looking for one that uses a 2 1/2" wide strip to get everything to balance out. I hate drafting my own patterns!
