Solutions have been provided but I want to encourage you to press on and not give up on this quilt. It is a rare quilter that has not had to face this conundrum. That is why you got some good solution ideas. Been there and done that.

Default Wavy Quilt top II

Thank you everyone for your most helpful suggestions. I did not give up on my quilt. I did the large running stitch and pulled slightly and did replace one of the diamonds that I felt was too stretched out! I now have it sandwiched together and am trying to figure out how I want to quilt those diamonds!! I'm also waiting for my 'quilt in a day' scallop template.
I appreciate all your encouragement!

That's terrific, Nanscan! Best of luck to you - it's going to be a pretty quilt!

Tartan is right on about how to help this bias issue. Pay close attention to the stitching as you go around use a nice loose stitch.

I'm glad it all worked out for you. Working with bias edges can be a real challenge.
