These all day sew-a-thons have just about done me in...I started working on Christmas items last July and I only just finished up. Am I the only one feeling like I have my own little sweat shop going?

I think Christmas just gets in the way of my Christmas sewing! Don't people know I've got better things to do than to be jolly?

LOL!

Hi everyone--- IT'S CALLED LIFE--- Have my share of that going around here also. Signed up for the Row Robin, was accepted into the Early Bird group and got bronchial pneumonia. I was in bed for a week. Feeling better now and I am all caught up again. No sewing gone for Christmas but that's OK. I am going to have to spend a little more time at Penney's and Wal-Mart.

I have only about ten feet of binding to hand sew and my last Christmas quilt will be done!

Then I can start cleaning the house and making candy and baking....

It's the most wonderful time.... of the yearrrrrrrr!

All I tried to sew to have done for Xmas was doll clothes. Didn't even make too many of those, but enough to make a kittle girl happy. I made up a few coaster sets and some pot holders, but not even that many. I have learned my limitations the past few years, and I just decided I wasn't going to wear myself out so I could enjoy our night together. After the holidays I will start back at the sewing machine, and won't have to be rushing. Merry Christmas all!

Just 2 small totes left to make. And cookies. And Christmas dinner. And so on. I try and make a couple of Christmas gifts all through the year, but it can really get ahead of you can't it? I am just looking forward to making some new quilts for myself this coming year. Like OBW's and French Braids and Bargellos.
