    pretty quilt ! go into the middle & at least straight stitch
    around the edges of the cake & across the "layers". if you don't, the middle may sag or bunch. especially if they ever wash it. and around the tops of the flowers. nice original pattern.

    It is quilted in the ditch and around the cake :) and around the flowers. I just was not confident to do free motion quilting. Maybe next time ;) Thank you for you comments :)

    Hmmm, I have included a fine perma marker pin... gel pens are better? I did see some. I should send color catchers? I did write that the signatures should be set with a hot iron once she has time. Thank you for your comments and hints :)
