I love the scrappy look. Just the way grandma used to make.

I have yet to do a scrappy. I have a list of quilts a lap quilt and a baby quilt. I have been growing my scraps. I think by the time I am done with them, I will then attempt a scrap quilt. I love them, they give a warm feeling. I love your scrappy

love the colors and overall look of the quilt. I am trying to use up a lot of 'scraps' and lace' on the line of a crazy quilt, then will cut out the 16 inch by 48 inch needed for the shirts of the dolls (cloth) I make and give away to kids with devestating medical problems (like cancer, etc). I just thought I could work on it once in awhile, while still making the regular doll dresses and hats. I just thought maybe if it comes out looking okay, it would be something extra special in a dress. I love 'color' also. Maybe some solid color for the top with a 'strip of crazy quilt' left over from the skirt part
on it. Hope that makes sense. The dolls stand 22 or so inches tall and are topsy turvy. Some of you have probably seen the pictures of them. 91 so far and still going. i have medical problems, but it doesn't stop me from sewing and knitting, etc. There are others far worse off then me.

Keep up the good job on that quilt. I'd love to see the finished product.
