    Default What’s an easy quilt as you go tutorial?

    Was given a bunch of pieced squares, already layered with light batting and hand quilted..looking for an easy way to joint them and have the still look nice. Veryold

    I put up two in the tutorials section. One for a narrow join method, and one for a wide sashed method. If you are looking for easy, the first link is the simplest method. Lots of pictures.

    Thank you, they are both very helpful…think I’m going with the narrow method, it just helps to see it step by step..slowly

    Thanks for that picture. I love shoo-fly and those are adorable blocks. How nice that they were all quilted for you!

    The squares are assorted colors, a few blue,green , yelllow but mostly reds..was planning black strips..think brick might look better? Opinions. Please
