I just created a page and called it Murphy's Home Page. I think it is a place you can leave notes for yourself, but not sure if others can see it. On the right you can add or delete it. Note sure of the purpose, but seems to be a note area. My best guess (smile).

    WHAT??

there is not explanation of My pages...anyone use this area??
It is blank because you have to create your own pages. The easiest way to explain is just to show you one. Click on this link and you can see all of the pages that Craftybear has created.

ok so MY PAGES is nothing more than MY TOPICS but in a more organized fashion??
    still not really getting it..
It is really nice because there is a limit to how many items you can bookmark, so you can save all kinds of information in My Pages.

Anybody can view your user pages.

I have 2 pages and one has all of the links to the Tymeless hearts quilts I was making. I forgot what the other one has.
You can use it like a book mark and keep links to future projects you want to make.

Editing: my other page is the links to the few tutorials I did on the QB.

this is how I understand it too, sort of like having a notepad built into the forums.

hey, i really like this idea. i'm glad the question was asked. it opens up a whole new way to communicate. i wish there was a way to promote this feature more so more people would take advantage of it, thus more sharing. :) thanks for explaining. :)

My Pages is not the same as My Topics. If you click on my name over to the left and then click on my 'My Pages', you will see the categories I have stored. It can be websites from the board and/or other websites, blogs, etc. It is better than bookmarking something. Bookmarking tool only lets you save 100 bookmarks and then it starts eliminating the oldest ones. Plus, Bookmark does not let you organize it in any order. I love My Pages and the fact that you can learn things from other members' My Pages.

    Hi Everyone,

I love the my pages feature you can have up to 100 pages and you can post tons of links in each file folder of things you find here on the quilting board by catergories

Here is the information that Amma typed up to explain "My Pages"

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-76366-1.htm

This is to my link to share with all of you things I have saved on my pages:

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/user_pa...p?usernum=6442

you can do a search by user list or go their profile to see if they have saved any my pages

Here is my profile and you scroll down to the bottom and click on list and it will take you to my pages for all of you to enjoy.

When I am surfing and find the 5 links to post per day then I post them in my link catergory here on the board. I am still organizing them by catergory of all of the links that I have posted.

This is the link to the topics that I have created and posted to the board that you can look at also

I learned when Crafty Bear posted info about My Pages. I save quilt ideas, other pattern ideas, pictures of quilts that I really like, things I want to make. You can save Quilt Board tutorials or outside links and when necessary add a note to remind what it takes me to. Love it! You name your files.
