of talented people! This board never ceases to amaze me!

I ordered an Brother embroidery machine the other day -- won't arrive for several days yet as it is coming from TN -- but shipping was free so couldn't resist. And since Joann's is having another sale, I thought I would use by coupons to go get extra needles, stabilizer and thread. But what kind?????

So I sat down at my computer early this AM and searched for embroidery thread (who would think that my machine already has a preference for brand of thread!), stabilizers (medium tear away is all around good), and needles (who knew they made special needles for embroidery??).

As usual you all came through with flying colors. With you guys as advisers I will be embroidering like a pro in no time!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

I think I missed your previous post. I just wanted to mention that i like the sticky stabilizer. that way, you can hoop the stabilizer and not the fabric. sometimes the hoop will leave a mark on the fabric that just never goes away.

have fun with your new toy.
