    Default what binding?

I just finished this quilt top and I am thinking about binding. I can't decide if I should use the green for the binding or not. I am afraid using the yellow for binding will show dirt too much

    What do you guys think?

Cute Quilt! .... Looks like John Deere meets New Holland!

You have a good sense of colour and design ... go with what looks good to you IRL.
The colours do not really show well in this pic so hard to know.

That being said, my first thought would be to bind with the same as the outer border.
The yellow would cause you to look between the two yellows, which would be fine if there was something there you wanted to draw attn to, but not the case this time round. You want to keep the focus on all of those JD squares in the centre.

Like I said ... go with what looks good to you!

That's so pretty! I'm inclined to say the blue in the border, or green, but not the yellow. It would change the look you have.

I agree with the blue or green.

Cute top! Do you have any of the background fabric behind the tractors? I think that plaid would make good binding or green.

My first thought was to bind it in the blue.

Beautiful quilt. I would use the blue, it would not change the look.

my first choice is the same as the blue... but you didn't offer blue as a choice, so i'd go with the green.
