Who has been to Road to California? If we are going for just one day, what is the best day to go? Do they actually have "deals" on anything? What was your favorite thing about it?

some things have good deals, I usually go because I find things I can't find locally, plus the quilts are gorgeous

I usually go the first day, Thursday, the weekends get really crowded (Thursday is pretty crowded also). Haven't found any "great" deals, but so much more than I have locally. The quilts are awesome.

I went with two non quilting friends two years ago. We went on the last day and got in half price. I had a ball. Prices were the same as my LQS.

Annaquilts

I have gone multiple times. Definitely go on Thursday if you can. It tends to be less busy and they still have everything in stock. Saturday is crazy and everything is picked over. Have fun!
