Default How would you quilt this?

I finished pinning this quilt this afternoon. I am not sure how I would like to quilt it. Any ideas from this great QB? The pattern is called Regimental Stars - Inspired by an Antique Quilt. Red Crinoline Quilts published the pattern. I am considering an all over stipple or stipple just in the star area and then use a stencil in the sashing strips and probably stipple in the setting triangles. What are your thoughts? When I first saw it I thought why not some kind of opposing star pattern over the stars that are already there. then maybe a feather or shell like pattern in the outer brown border.

It was really very quick and easy. Figuring out how to quilt my quilts always takes the longest.

I always like to stitch in the ditch. Not glamorous but it will accent the piecing.

That's a great looking quilt!

I'm boring-I do a lot of quilting by the piece-maybe triangles or diamonds or stars in the border

i think i would 1/2 in from the ditch stitch ..maybe a oval chain thingy in the black [or the oval diamond oval diamond and in the outside mustard color i would do a feather that fills the space this is where your quilting will show up the most .....what ever you do it will be beautiful ...
