I like a narrow white then maybe a wider red border.

My first thought was a narrow of the red then repett the beige/tan wider.

A very narrow dark border like navy blue, dk brown or even black. The dark narrow border will give the eye some place to rest before moving onto the outer border. Then multi blue/read wide border.

Sounds ideal to me. Good suggestion

I like these suggestions for border colors. After the dark narrow border, you could add a red small piping next to the multi wide border. The multi colored border should have most or all of the colors in your quilt.

If you put a narrow tan border on first it will float the designs in your blocks. Any other color but the white will touch the same color in a block somewhere and bleed into the border.
