Seems like there are lots of us who do not like orange. That would have to be my least favorite color as well, but I do have some in my stash, when I find good sales I buy colors for young kids, tweens, as we make quilts for the local shelters and hospitals for the kids. THat is the only reason I get that color. I tend to like the fall color orange.
My favorite color is purple so I have LOTS of that.:-). I tend to like jewel tones and pastels. I am not a Civil War, THimbleberries fan.
I also notice that MODA is usually what catches my eye the most in the shops. What maker do you tend to lean to?

Well, everyone in my quilt class was always using WHITE in their quilt tops and I didn't. Then I made one of the Star Quilts and used white in mine - and guess what, NOT ANOTHER PERSON USED WHITE. So, I guess I have less white than anything - just used it for that project.

I was going to say orange, until I read "Crafty's" reply & realized I also don't have any solid black (I DO have some cute prints on black). My grandson recently asked me to make a quilt for him. He picked out the pattern & asked that I include orange (orange & black are his school colors) - he was very specific about what type of prints -- lots of geometrics, no dainty yellows or greens & definitely no florals! So I found a wonderful black paisley, 108", for the backing & will incorporate some onto the front. So now I have some oranges, golds, maroons, browns & lots of geometrics to cut up! A few yrs ago I would have said lime green, then a grandaughter asked for it in a quilt!
