I'm getting read to quilt my sandwich. I did the Boxed Squares pattern scrappy with the all center squares white.

With all those colors and a white center, what color thread would you use for cross hatching? Thanks, Karen

I have found that an off white looks nice in these situations.

I usually use an ecru, cream or off white. But it depends on how much white fabric. If it is true white, you could quilt with white. I hardly every use white, unless I have a lot of white that I wil be quilting though. I am also a hand quilter, so this may not be much help.
