What is the difference between the 404 and 505 spray?
I have purchased the 505 spray and I like it well enough. I have seen a 404 spray. What is the difference between the 505 and 404 adhesive sprays - does anyone know? They are both made by Odif and are called temporary fabric adhesive. But something must be different from one to the other. Any ideas?

I just did a google search on the 404 adhesive spray and this is what I found. "Permanently re positionable craft adhesive - it sticks anywhere in any combination; paper, leather, plastic, wood, metal." I have never used it - I prefer Mettler's Web Bond. It works great and you are able to contain where it sprays so there is little mess.

A quick google and you can find out the reasons to use 202-404-505-606 sprays on the Odif site.
My understanding is that 404 a temporary spray for paper etc on fabric ... eg. to hold pattern pieces without pins.
Whereas 505 is fabric to fabric.

I've found Odif products on Amazon. There doesn't seem to many prime sellers though so the shipping may be more than the product. I was just on Amazon earlier and in the description for 404 says it's temporary for rulers which would be good for ruler work. 505 is for basting your quilt or for a temporary repositionable like maybe applique. It should wash out, I've never had it stain unless the spray sent out a glob. Check out the descriptions on Odidf's website and what the seller is saying. I'd go with what Odif says to use it for.
