Did she give it to you because she wanted you to make her something or just because you sew. Does she like it - do you?
If it doesn't need to stay around - make a little cowgirl quilt with some bandanas and denim and sell it on Ebay or donate it to a child, when it's finished. Donate it to a child. Makes ya feel good...

She made a vest and matching tote bag for her sister who absolutely loves cow girls. She bought too much and knowing that I quilt she gave me the left over.

I am a compulsive fabricolic and love the hand of the fabric. I believe the selvedge says hoffman. It is definitely quility fabric.

I let you know what I decide. Just need some hints!

I would fussy cut -- with such a large print and so much space between you should be able to get some good center blocks. Winding Ways comes to mind -- as does the any one of the stars that you could put this in the middle of.

A pillowcase would work for that amount of fabric.

Love this fabric. (1)Use it as is as a medallion and surround it with coordinating borders (2) Use it as the back for a quilt for a little cowgirl (3) Use it for a totebag--a friend gave me a totebag using this fabric except that it has a light background instead of the red. I use it to carry quilts and other items for show and tell. froggyintexas
