I agree with the others. It does not need much help. It is beautiful.

I think it would look really nice as an attic windows, but also since it has straight edges vertically, you might cut it and then cut the smaller blocks and put them sort of all around it on the right and underneath.

Excuse my art, hope you get the idea. I have seen a pattern something like this done with a Japanese print but cannot remember the name of it.

i would window pane the blocks- and make it into a quilt- it is beautiful. i have a number of panals i am going to start (playing with) as soon as i finish up some in the works projects- your panal gives me incentive to get busy

Great ideas from everyone here. I'm glad I've got some time to think about it a bit before I get started on it. I'm considering adding some coordinating dark solid color or "read as solid" batiks or tone-on-tones with some floral redwork-type embroidery contrasting FMQ on them with similar designs.... thinking, thinking, thinking....

This is going to be FUN to work with for sure!

Pretty panel! I agree that a wall hanging or lap quilt would be great.

That's gorgeous! Maybe do some take on "Attic Windows"?

I think the asymetrical Japanese panel idea would look great with the smaller blocks along the side and bottom like Iraxy mentioned but whatever you decide, it will be wonderful!
