I listen to a movie, I don't have cable in my sewing room. I also listen to music.

My cussing. Actually, I have a tv in my room and it's usually on a cooking show or pbs.But I also like quiet.

I like to watch "Deadliest Catch". I used to live where I could watch those boats that came back to Seattle come in to Salmon Bay so I feel a sort of kinship with them being from Seattle and having a Scandanavian background.

I DVR the episodes and save them up.

I agree with you except my TV is in the next room. Just having voices and other noise blocks out all the traffic notice that is on the highway outside. I turn off the radio after DH has gone out as it is so loud that I just need peace and quiet of the TV down real low as I have sensitive hearing.

There is this band made up of servicemembers and civilians here and they play guitar while we quilt. We hum the tunes we know whle we sew and sometimes we shout out requests. Its very nice after a long day of work. They shipped their instruments like we shipped ours. Its cool.
