I'm with you, Jeanne S. I adore the K. Fassett colors and have so much of his fabric, but don't know how to use it. Maybe make 4 and half inch blocks and then display on the design wall (my floor)to enjoy them and then sew them up! I bet that works! I've seen pictures of his assistant or someone else arranging all these block on a design wall. With Fassett fabrics I bet one doesn't have to be overly selective to combine all those delicious colors. What do you think?

I'm with you. My tastes are more traditional (whatever that means) & his colors & designs are too much for me. So many remind me of the 70s colors.

i agree we are probably over-thinking it!!! The colors all blend nicely together. I think what I keep stumbling over is that so many are large, bold prints and I just can't visualize them together. I usually use neutrals or smaller prints, or just one medium size print with smaller ones and solids. All the large patterns seem conflicting----not the colors. But I haven't spent much time googling KF quilts---I think that will be my next step to see if I can get some ideas.

I am hanging out with Mickey Mouse in Florida for a few days but will post photos of my color arrangement when I return home.
