What I am working on now
#13
As I work on putting these together another light bulb went off in my head and I did a bit of a design change. Now I just have to make sure it is going to work. If it does I will update the picture to reflect the changes. Imagine how the mind can change things in a quick moment. humm. I am thinking take a 6x8 row of 9 patches to make a nice center surround with either a white boarder or boarder of a solid batik then another wide border of 3 rows of 9 patches and see where that takes me. I am always open to design changes midway through a project.

The photography and editing gets better as you go. Don't give up.
My suggestion is to reduce the resolution of your photo, not the overall size to get Houzz to take it. If your program will allow it, leave the photo at least 8X10. Do all your editing first, then reduce it to 96 dpi. That's what I've found that will allow your viewers to see the quilt in detail, but will load easily.
it gets easier and better, I promise.
