Peppermint tea at bedtime. Regular tea (hot or cold) during the day (and other flavors as the mood suits me). Carbonated drinks are fun ocassionally.

I used to work in a nightclub. That is where I met DH. The club was my night time 2nd job. Sometimes I would have a glass of cheap wine on the way to work to get me started. Some times by the middle of shift I was flying pretty high. But I married an alcoholic and learned first hand of how hard it is to live with some of them. (had 2 other alcoholic hubbys and 1 gambler) But they were no where near as bad as #4. I guess I didn't have enough sence to even know the first 3 had problems. So when DH #4 quit drinking, I did too. We both also quit smoking 20 or so yrs ago. Sometimes I would like a glass of wine but like someone else said, the meds say no alcohol or heavy equip. So I just drink lots of tea or water.

We like Reeds Ginger Beer --can now get it in Ontario and in Fl. Buy it by the case the way others here buy
    alcoholic beer.

Start with a glass of water, cup of coffee, water all day, sometimes iced tea at dinner, coffee after dinner. Nothing but filtered, purified water in my house. NO tap water because of the chemicals. Alcohol went away many years ago, and I don't miss it. However, I don't mind if you don't. :)
Be healthy, stay sane and live a good life!!! Blessings.

About 2:00 I get to start sewing and sew to 4:30. Then I go and get my glass of Pinot Noir and a small bowl of Fishy Crackers (that I share with my dog) then come to this site til 5:30. Then I have to go start dinner. Boohoo!

Sometimes I have a mixed drink before going to bed if I'm anticipating having trouble falling asleep. We're on a night shift schedule, and it throws my sleep patterns off occasionally. I doze right off afterwards. I'm such a party animal! :XD:
