what kind of glue for fabric on note cards?
Hi..Ive seen recently some hand made cards that use a piece of fabric..and glued onto a blank note card to use like a greeting card.
Would anyone know what type of glue should be used? They seem to really be glued down nicely..and I would like to make some and not have the fabric peel/fall off!!
My sewing is all put away for a few months as DH is working on my new studio!! so didnt want drywall dust on my stuff...This would give me something to work on without unpacking my machine.
Thanks for any help/suggestions!

I would suggest hot glue. You could also hand embroider some stitches on it and that would secure it. I love sewing material on cards with my sewing machine, but I see your machine is put up. You can come on down and use one of mine.

I've made cards using fabric and have always used "wonder under" or "steam a seam" under the fabric cut to fit, and iron it onto the paper. This is a great way to make a hard to find card. Like for my nephew who plays the cello...found a great piece of fabric with a cat orchestra, the one in the middle playing the cello.
