Default What model of Singer is this?

I have an opportunity to get this sewing machine. I haven't seen it yet and this is the only photo I have. It is a Singer in a simple 2 drawer cabinet with treadle. Any ideas on what she is?

With the tension on the faceplate, it must be a 15. There is a 115, but I've never seen one.

there should be an oval plate on it with a serial number. the singer site has a chart of all of the serial numbers.

I'm going to look at it tomorrow. Don't have a serial number on it yet. I'll definitely look it up as soon as I know what it is. I think you're right Irishrose. I found a picture of a 15-88 that sure looks like it. Good eye to note the tension on the faceplate.

It is a Singer 15K made in Kilbowie, Scotland. It has the RAF ( Royal Air Force) decals which are kind of scarce on this side of the pond.

Any chance of a picture of the other side. Looks like 15 but must see front.

Looks like a 15 - take your picture to the Vintage Machine Shop thread! They know just about everything you could ever want to know about machines over there...and if they don't know someone will probably go and dig it up just so they CAN know!
