    What a great way to keep her mentally and physically active! I will try the mug rug idea out on my 84 year old mother. Must make them feel important :-D

    That is wonderful at 84 is still learning, I hope I can do that. We have a lady in our "Gathering" that is 103 and Still embroiders and quilts. I use her as my guide when I think I don't feel well I tell myself that "little Mama would do it.

    My loving mom is 85 and sewed all her life[with 6 kids: myself and 5 boys] but we just found out she was admitted to Hospice[in Mi.] and we live in SC. Will go see her soon. I will hate the thoughts of her machine running all the time making things for us, G. kids and GG. kids. from babies on. Love you mom~!~~~ Prayers are WELCOME too! Thanks!!
