    Oh my those are beautiful quilts!! I like the big pieced borders, and the inner part on point, gives a whole new look to the quilts.

    The 2nd one uses John Flynn's striped border on the outside and the inside stars look like twisted stars (not sure). I have never seen a pattern for this quilt, just the book for the outside borders. Hope this helps.

    I like the second better. Think I've seen that one before. No way I could remember where.

    not sure if it is the same one but sure looks like a John Flynn braided border class that I took years ago

    The second one is sometimes called a Labyrinth, and I've heard it called Interlocking Squares. I made one a few months ago.
