I am making one now...I am not paper piecing and not using a foundation piece. Top is almost done....will post when completed.

on your foundation piece , did you use that for the center color in your block?

Looks so much like Bonnie Hunters "Spiders web", this is one that I am doing, just love the pattern and the way it highlights even the smallest of fabrics.

This is done on a square foundation, unlike a spiderweb which begins with a triangle foundation. It is in String Quilt Revival, but it is easy to do without a pattern. The effect is created by the kite shaped piece in the center of each square.
