I have been on so many internet sites lately exploring quilting designs that I don’t know where I saw it, so help me out if you can.
A slanted pinwheel pattern. They sewed 5 in squares together in a single block, and then used a template over the 4 corners (at an angle) to cut out square that when all the pieces are put together forms a slanted pinwheel. I know the site I had looked at a few days ago had pictures of how to do it and everything. It was a tessellating pattern.
Sound familiar? I can’t find it again! I'd love any help I can get tracking this thing down, because my fabric is washed and ironed and all ready to go.

start a folder and bookmark any pattern you think you might like. Then go through them periodically and sort. I was in your shoes once, couldn't find a pattern I began dreaming about. Haven't lost another one yet.

That's not the exact site I was looking for, but YES, that's the block. At least I have a name now to go on to do more searches.
And, for those same blocks sewed together a different way, Fons and Porter has a kit called Sea Etchings. It has the blocks with a thin color strip in the middle of each block, and sets them to look like vases stacked on one another, which is how I will put mine together.

Ah, here's one of the sites I wanted. It's a picture tutorial, but most importantly, it's got a Twister Holiday Wreath! Very pretty for the holidays.
You guys are awesome!
