Well, last year this time, we were basting in quilts (to be
hand quilted). One of my favorite ones, was as rather
intricate small pieced block.I got it together except for the pieced border. I am not a new qulter, but I never had anything that threw me for such a loop. It just all had to
fit perfectly for the pieced border to work. The border
could not have come out more perfect. What a relief. BUT
when we layed it out it had too much fullness here and there
through the main part of the quilt. There was no way we could "work it in". I took it off, folded it up and have
not touched it since. I can't tell you how a I dread to
tear that all apart and re-do. For a year now, every time
I pass it, I turn my head. I keep thinking I can do the
'mind over matter' thing, but it has not happened yet.

I have a halloween wallhanging pinned and ready to quilt, an autumn colors stack n whack, also pinned and ready to quilt, a table runner pieced but not sandwiched yet and a Christmas Tree twin sized quilt, also pieced but not yet sandwiched. I will no doubt start at least 3 or 4 more projects before the end of the year, but I REALLY need to finish these up first!! I hope to get the halloween project quilted by the end of this coming weekend.

I planned to make 2 queen sized quilts as Christmas presents but they might not get done until after Christmas!

I want to finish a Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam for my oldest DD. She has wanted one for since she saw one at an antique mall.

And I want to make my sister a canning jar quilt. If I get those done, I want to make quilts for my BIL and nephew.

I also want to make some aprons and coaster and bowls.

Whew!!! If I get half on my list done, it will be a miracle.

First, an applique eagle wallhanging that my husband wants.

Next, I want the challenge of doing my first bargello.

Finally, my daughter has requested a quilt. She will be home from college at Thanksgiving to pick out the fabric and pattern.

Thanks for asking.

I am making a second American Beauty Quilt and would like to have the top finished by Christmas so that it can go to the quilter in January. I need to have it back to be bound and finished by the 6th of July for a wedding gift. I would like to be half way through with the farmer's wife also by then.
