I have the same Omnigrid rulers that I had when they came out. They are less expensive than the Creative Grids are. I find I am using my 2.5"wide one a bit more than the 5.5".6.5" & 8.5" square and the 6.5"x24"

I used to use my 12" and 6" x 24" most but since I got my Stripology ruler
that's what I used most of the time for cutting and it's not just for 2.5" strips.
You can cut almost any strip size you want. If your fabric is well starched
you can do a lot of cutting in minutes. I even managed to cut strips into
squares. I'm spoiled.

I use my Omnigrip 8.5" x 24" mostly. Also other Omnigrid rulers, and Easy Angle, and Companion Angle.....

3.5" omnigrid yellow
2.5" gingher
1"X6" Cottage Tools and Omnigrid
6" square Omnigrid
6"X12" Cottage Tools and Omnigrid

I have others for bigger cuts, but I make complicated quilts with lots of small pieces, so this is my go-to group.
Plus each year during Bonnie Hunter's mysteries I use the Easy Angle rulers

Same here with the addition of the 6 X 12 I keep that one handy after width of fabric is cut

I use my "Fingerguard" (which are no longer made ) 6" x 12" and 6" x 18" almost exclusively. I just bought a 3" x 18" ruler to help with a WIP that calls for 3" squares. I have some square rulers that I sometime use. I don't use or buy specialty rulers, I just stick with the basics. I have some Omnigrid, some Fons & Porter and some Creative Grid squares.

It's a toss up between my Creative Grids 8.5" x 24.5" and their Quick Trim and Circle Ruler. I use the first for larger things and the second for smaller cuts.

I use my 6 x 24 in ruler the most, the other one would be the 6 x 12 inch. I have a lot of different size rulers and use them as needed, but those are the 2 that are always on top.
