I had never heard of Warm Wishes but when I googled it, I loved it and I printed a copy for my never-ending to do list.

I have to Google frequently. I also have the abbreviations page bookmarked! Now that I know what it is, I love the Warm Wishes quilt. I downloaded the instructions. TY

Ditto to HSTs. Simple and quick. There is always lots of "movement" in the final layout. My favorite pattern layout is barn raising and it works centered or off center.

My favorite 6" block is the pinwheel block.

Lately, my go-to books for 6" blocks are The Splendid Sampler 1 and 2, by Pat Sloan. It offers a mix of modern and traditional designs, some easy, some not.

I just finished a 9 patch alternated with a rail fence block for a baby quilt and it came out really nice. I was using a black print with a black and white rail fence so not to distracting with colors.
