Beyond GORGEOUS - and they come so beautifully packaged, it hurts to cut into them.

And the nicest people working there.
I was once on the hunt for more of a color I had picked up in Houston one year.
    I needed another 4 yards.
It wasn't available anywhere (even after checking all the European stores that carried the brand).
I wrote directly to Oakshott and they didn't have any more either.
But three or four weeks later I receive another email from Michael - they had found the yardage (I think in his wife's stash) and I was able to purchase it.
    I was thrilled.

    Yes, pricey. But worth it.

Pinwheels was http://www.pinwheels.com/cgi-bin/Store/store.cgi , a couple of years ago, the only place in the US where you could buy them.

But Oakshott is starting to expand to other vendors, thankfully - the "modern" quilters love them as they're much more interesting than plain solids.

Pinwheels used to carry yardage but I think she's mostly carrying the packs now (as are most of the other online vendors).
So for yardage you have to shop directly from Oakshott.

I have used lots of Kaffe Fassett shot cottons and love them.

MTS - thanks for the info! Oakshott has been hard to find in the US, I'm hoping it will get more popular and more LQSes will start carrying it.

Ooooh, I just had a thought - maybe they'll have a booth at Houston this fall!! I'll have to put it on my "must-have" list next to the Cherrywood fabrics!
