When at a LQS the owner demonstrated the miracle chalk. This product will mark stencils. The chalk will stay on if you hand goes over it and when folded up. To remove you simply iron it out. I have used it twice on dark fabric and it is great. You cannot see it good on light fabric but the company suggested using a black light. Have now tried that yet but I am sure it will work. You can order it on line on their website of miraclechalk.com. Great Stuff.

Are you talking abt Pounce...where you put it into a item that looks like a old fashion bd eraser and then pounce either white or blue chalk onto your fabric...I have that and it is wonderful...

I've used this and really like it. I have heard some people say that it left a "greasy" looking stain on their fabric. I've never had that happen. A tip I got from a long-arm quilter is to use cheap chalkboard white chalk. I use old pieces of batting to remove it.
