Everytime I make a quilt, I end up saying it is my favorite. Sometimes I miss a quilt after I sell it. Thursday night I start making a silk uneven log cabin to replace one I sold 4 years ago, that I can't get out of my head. I joined a group at LQS called Silk-aholics to get me started in the 12 step program - LOL.

I love Storm at Sea, nine patches and any star pattern. I too don't tend to use a pattern more than once unless I can figure out a new take. There are so many patterns and so little time.... gotta try as many as I can.

My first quilt was a 9 patch. That was long, long ago, but I still like the pattern. It goes together fast. Second favorite would probably be kaleidoscope, or Chinese Coins, or maybe Apple Core. So many quilts to make and only one lifetime in which to do it.
