What to use for labeling individual pieces of fabric?

I write the info on little squares of freezer paper ironed on the fabric. It sticks well and leaves no residue no matter how long it stays there.

I do the same but not with safety pins at the moment it is just little normal pins and the fabric is stacked in plastic drawers.

Great idea! Do you use pen or pencil to write...any worry about the writing rubbing off on the next fabric?

I use a fine tip marker. It doesn't bleed once it dries.

Of course I don't know what your painterstape is like, but over here (Ndetherlands) it sticks awfully when it's left on something for more than a day (or 2), I found that out the hard way! AQnd that was on a window, i don'
t don't think I would ever have gotten it off fabric.
