    I'd keep the silks for crazy quilts, pincushions, etc. I would call local schools and senior centers to see if anyone wanted the other stuff.

I would hope any donations I give would at least go to the Goodwill shop to be given to someone who doesn't have a job and couldn't afford to buy them before someone driving the truck started to pick out all of the 'good stuff'... But, I guess it's a personnal choice.

    Our local church uses everything for their charity quilts. Perhaps one of your locals would accept it, or atleast some of it.

    Is it useable for Dresses for Africa. Nancy's Notions has all the details. A yard or less makes one dress. Just an idea. This week I have made 54 dresses with "cleaning out the unwanted".

    I made chemo hats for our local Donald Reynolds cancer support houe. They loved even zany colors. After all they need a good lauf gh too I got a few offers of help and we made almost 200 of them. We sewed real pretty jeweled buttons on them. Just an ides.

    Our charity group uses cottons for kids quilts and gives everything else to the Indians who make great use of it.
