    A customer asked me to make her MIL a quilt for her upcoming bday....Burgandy's, Deep blues, deep greens (rustic colors), ....but she said her style is Modern Country...

    Anyone care to show me pictures of What modern Country looks like??? I have no clue, I googled it and magazines and not really pics.

    can anyone help??

    Those are my colors and I like a country cottage feel. Not sure what she means by modern country. Maybe stay away from Little House on the Prairie era stuff?

    Makes me think of more bold, less busy fabric and a simpler pattern. Honestly though... I could be wayyyy off. The other thing I thought of is one of those "off center" patterns that I have seen alot of lately.

    i have no idea but those colors certainly aren't modern those are pure country.

    ok....so excluding the colors i listed.....what would you call Modern country???

    Well I googled ""modern country style"", and I found everything from primitive to ultra modern with a country pillow thrown in.
    I have no clue.
    I consider anything country that is warm and inviting and everybody is comfortable and feels at home.
