I am still working on my Iowa stash. I am on box 23 and up to 2300 yds of fabric. Every piece I fold I can see a project to use it for. I am also making dog blankets as I go out of the pieces that are stained or faded. I need to put a friends quilt on the frame and get it quilted. I want to start some other stuff, but I am determended to finish up some stuff first.

Well yesterday I made a Winnie The Pooh fabric book, and started on a chanell panel...the one that was posted here, I didn't have 3 matching panels just 2, so only the top panel will get sliced...Not sure it will work, but it's a good base for learning the technique. They were great panels and cheap, but for today, I'm off to take a 2 hour trip one way to take my father out for Father's day supper....

I'm working on a family reunion quilt and having Fathers Day dinner on Sunday with my husband and his daughter.

Due various medical type things I need to pace myself, last weekend I did various gardening type things, this weekend I was out all day yesterday at my quilt group where we had a bring and buy sale. I came home with a couple of bits, including an Amy Emms, history of durham quilting book, and a "how to make a giant dahlia on a sewing machine" book. today I am baking, but I would like my next project to be sew some DJ blocks together.

A few friends and I started doing this quilt individually about 6 years ago. None of us ever finished it, and one of them, last month gave me her 27 blocks and said "here, put them with yours". But rather than put them in my cupboard, never to see light of day again, I'm going to sew them together 5 x 5 and give them back to her because she is the local Linus co-ordinator. But I'm unlikely to start that this weekend because I feel like I've been run over by a truck. I'm putting that down to the fibromyalgia, rather than any actual road accident.

Or maybe attending graduation parties, and not sewing at all?
Wish I could get inspired this time of year but it is impossible. I have a garden to tend to. I have made a trip to NY to help my daughter to plant her garden. I am leaving Sat. for Denver CO to attend a graduation. After that I am going to NY again to can tomatoes and other veggies. So you see...there is no time to sew....I will pick back up in the fall I hope...

I am working on "Blue's Clues" blocks for a little boy about to go under his second liver transplant. His grandmother is making him a quilt of Blue's Clues since it is his very favorite and has asked help with the blocks...
got to get this quilt finished.

The request came from the FandomInStitches website.

What better project is there than for a child needing comfort.

I am trying to clean house this weekend, and maybe get some piecing done for one or more of my many UFOs! But I seem to be spending too much time on the computer!

I am finishing a quilt that has taken me forever to complete because I have hee hawed around way too long with it. I think I will do just a little more quilting, put on the binding and a label and it will be done. Finally! Then I'm going to start a new quilt for our next grandbaby who is due in Oct. It's a little boy and he is getting a cowboy quilt.

I love to hear what everyone is working on today. I am trying to finish a Gone With the Wind quilt for my Mother. I bought the fabric two years ago and I am finally about to get the top together. I really am trying to finish UFO's before buying anything new to sew.
